What kind of work can I quote?
LumberQuote is built for non-structural small furniture such as shelves, boxes, side tables, and similar shop projects. It does not cover load-bearing or structural work.
How does the AI material draft work?
You start from a sketch, a photo, or a typed note. The AI proposes a draft material list using only the dimensions that are clearly written or labeled in what you provided. It does not invent measurements it cannot read.
Are the numbers in my quote calculated by AI?
No. After you confirm the material list line by line, board feet, waste, markup, and margin are calculated on your device with fixed arithmetic, so the same inputs always give the same totals.
Where do the prices come from?
From the price list you enter and maintain yourself. LumberQuote does not connect to suppliers and does not claim to show live or current market lumber prices.
Does LumberQuote give structural or engineering advice?
No. It does not assess load, span, joinery strength, or code compliance, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
Where does the PDF go?
The quote PDF is generated on your device. It leaves your device only if you choose to share, email, print, or export it yourself.
What is free and what needs credits?
The app is free to download and includes a small number of starter credits. Each AI material draft uses credits, so AI use is limited to the credits you hold. Local Pro is a separate one-time unlock for local features only; it never adds AI credits.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Purchase History on your device, or contact Apple Support directly.
